Tips for Caring for Your Tree

  • Keep your tree standing (preferably on mulch or grass) on the shady side of your house in a container of water if possible. Do not store your tree on it's side.

  • Make a fresh cut if the tree is not taken into the house for several days.

  • It's best that your tree not be set in direct sunlight and/or near a heating source.

  • Check your tree on a daily basis for water.

  • Turn tree lights off when not in the same room for an extended period of time.

Tree FAQS

  • First and foremost, every tree is different and may behave differently than your last tree.

  • Some trees will not take water for very long.

  • The cooler the tree is kept, the longer it will last.

  • Some trees will drop some of their needles.

  • Most trees will last 3-6 weeks, or longer with proper care.

  • WE MAKE NO GUARANTEE FOR YOUR TREE'S DRINKING OF WATER OR HOW LONG IT WILL LAST ONCE IT LEAVES OUR FARM. EVERYTHING POSSIBLE IS DONE TO PRODUCE A HEALTHY, GREEN TREE.
